WHAT IS PALO SANTO WOOD?
Palo Santo is Spanish for Holy Wood.

Palo Santo - Bursera Graveolens - is a tree that grows around the equator and is native to Ecuador, Peru and other South American countries. It is found in dry tropical forests. It produces a very fragrant resin with notes of citrus and cedar.

Palo Santo is used both medicinally and spiritually. It is said to treat pain, stress and ward off mosquitos by releasing naturally occurring organic compounds limonene and terpineol. In the spiritual realm of ritual Palo Santo has been used for centuries to cleans negative energy from both spaces and people.
